What is an LBP?
A Liquidity Bootstrapping Pool (LBP) is a mechanism designed for fair
token distribution and price discovery, using the Balancer Curve as an example. It starts with an
imbalance in token weightings, favoring the project's token, which encourages initial
participation by offering a lower price. Over time, the pool's token weights adjust automatically,
shifting towards equilibrium. This process allows for gradual price stabilization, leveraging
Balancer Curve's customizable adjustments to manage price volatility and prevent front-running,
offering a controlled environment for token launches.
